Kaizen Facilitator Training
Kaizen events are the vehicle to implementing lean tools and concepts. Kaizen events are well-scoped, focused improvement efforts that utilize a team-based approach to eliminating wastes. The Kaizen Facilitator Training course is designed to teach a standard kaizen process that can be used for implementing lean tools, such as quick changeover, 5 S, cellular/layout and TPM.

Simulation:
The workshop focuses on training participants to be able to facilitate kaizen events. Attendees will participate and take part in leading a simulated kaizen event applying the standardized kaizen process from the lecture. Simulation activities include observing and measuring a current process, brainstorming wastes, making and documenting improvements and preparing and presenting results to management.

Lean Enterprise Certificate Series and a Kaizen event

Training held at UAH will also be charged $12 per person for consumables.
