Lean & Energy Assessments Available at NO CHARGE to Alabama Manufacturers in 2013
Thanks to a U.S. Department of Energy grant that is being managed through ADECA-Energy Division – Manufacturers located within the State of Alabama can request a Lean and Energy Assessment at No Charge to their company.
Already 52 AL Manufacturing companies have benefited from the assessments – with an average of $93,504 of identified energy savings per company. Collectively the identified energy savings for these 52 companies is $4,862,228.
The Lean and Energy Assessment provided to AL Manufacturers is valued from $4,000 to $8,000. The Alabama Technology Network (ATN) and Alabama Industrial Assessment Center (AIAC) are conducting these assessments.
