Dr. Laird Burns is an Associate Professor in the College of Business Management Science department at UAH. He received his B.B.A. in Management and Personnel and Labor Relations from Grand Valley State University. Dr. Burns earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from University of Michigan, He received his Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Dr. Burns has worked with over eighty companies and organizations in more than thirty industries on five continents as an executive, management consultant, and academic expert in all major functions of business and across echelons of supply chains. He teaches courses related to Operations Analysis, Supply Chain Management and Operations Management.
