5 S of Workplace Organization/Visual Factory – Lean

Learn how to transform a factory into a place where information concerning product quality, productivity, schedule and safety are visually accessible at any given moment.  Participants learn the 5 S methodology to implement specific, easy-to-access visual systems to enhance communications and productivity.

With case histories and visual examples, course participants learn what visual order is, what the visual workplace looks like and how these concepts function on the production shop floor.  The course teaches how to deal with resistance, develop checklists and use a process audit to drive the process.

Simulation:

This class features a hands-on simulated factory where participants will experience the benefits of workplace organization by applying the lecture concepts and measuring the impact.

Cost:
$2500 to purchase an entire class for your company
$175 per person for open enrollment

Training held at UAH will also be charged $20 per person/per day for consumables.
