Chillers and Cooling Towers

Chillers typically consume more electricity than any other single energy-consuming
device in a commercial office building, so it is important to be energy efficient.  Participants receive an overview of how chillers and cooling towers work.  In addition, they learn what to look for when replacing a chiller and how to minimize energy consumption with existing systems.  The hands-on simulation shows how a cooling tower works and demonstrates inefficiencies in the system.  Attendees leave with a checklist of items to look for and a list of solutions to overcome system shortcomings.
