ALABAMA E3 Initiative Highlighted at AAMA Symposium in June  

UAHuntsville CMER and  ATN staff member Anthony Holden gave a presentation on Alabama E3 Initiative during an Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) information symposium on June 20 .   Alabama E3 initiative is a coordinated technical assistance initiative that assists manufacturers to increase their profits, strengthen the company’s future by implementing efficient production processes, reduce all wastes, lower costs, grow jobs, and drive innovation.   Anthony’s presentation is available below.

The “Resources in Alabama to Support Business and Industry”  day-long session was held in Tuscaloosa on the University of Alabama campus with the topics highlighting state resources available for all manufacturers to help grow their business, not just those who make vehicles.

Other speakers included  Alabama Community College Chancellor Mark Heinrich; Bill Visnic of Edmunds.com; Auburn University’s Business College Dean Bill Hardgrave; Ed Castile, executive director of the Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) program; and Bharat Balasubramanian, executive director of the Center for Advanced Vehicle Technologies.
